About Zvi Jalfin Photography

Zvi's path into photography started at age 12 when his grandfather reluctantly gave him an old Kodak Duaflex camera. Soon enough, his bedroom became a makeshift darkroom by day, and the hobby became a passion. This passion has become more and more intense over the years, turning into a full-time occupation. Every wedding is a spectacular and unique occasion and Zvi is honored to be able to observe and record these great moments in time. The profound and heartfelt emotions of laughter, joy, and surprise can be appreciated and memorialized through the lens of an observant and gifted photographer.

While posing is not popular today, brides and grooms must still be photographed looking their best and having fun. Zvi does not pose or move couples, he merely gets their attention. His philosophy is to capture the emotion of this singular and joyous occasion. If he can do it in a candid or photojournalistic way he will but if he has to pose or move someone or give little direction to capture that incredible photograph he will do that too.

Zvi is committed to making this special event enjoyable, memorable and stress free for couples, their families and friends. Capturing a couple having fun, laughing or just strolling in a beautiful venue is what Zvi strives for in making all special moments truly a day to remember.

Zvi is not sure who came up with the phrase "You don't know what you don't know," but he has adapted this philosophy. Zvi is an avid learner. Although his formal education is in electro-optics and he spent years spent working in the graphic arts industry, he has chosen professional photography as his preferred career path. He earned a degree in digital photography at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. Zvi prides himself on his use and interest in working with leading-edge technologies that will benefit his work with clients.

Continuing to learn something new all the time, and keeping up with the latest styles and technology advances has been all along, Zvi's philosophy. By listening to his clients and focusing on what they want to capture to help remember special days or times, Zvi ensures that their photographs, albums or portraits are the timeless keepsake they were hoping for. Zvi provides input and acts in a consultative role regarding photographic options to fulfill the clients' needs. This is how Zvi has built an impeccable reputation with his clients.
